Accessibility
Last updated: October 2026
I want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, zoom, or high-contrast settings. The target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
This is a description of where the site stands, not a claim that it fully conforms.
How it was checked
- October 2026: an automated scan (axe-core, WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rules) of every page at desktop and phone widths.
- A keyboard-only pass through the home page, Proof, Train, the application form, the newsletter form and the TRAINCND waitlist, checking that every link, button and field can be reached and shows where focus is.
Automated tools catch roughly a third of real accessibility problems. Nobody who uses a screen reader every day has tested the site yet.
What was fixed
- The “Book a free consult” button in the menu had grey text on red at 3.75:1. It’s now white at 4.96:1.
- Form fields now show a solid red focus ring instead of a faint glow.
- The TRAINCND waitlist buttons had white text on blue at 4.33:1. The button blue is now slightly darker, at 5.06:1.
Known issues
- Pages on other sites I link to, such as Setmore booking, the Vault and the Built For Her app, aren’t covered here.
